Doha International Airport - Qatar
The HVAC Engineer will lead a team of staff and outsourced vendors to undertake all preventive / corrective maintenance and new project works. The applicant needs good leadership and mentoring qualities to build a dynamic team to ensure all capital assets in the department are in immaculate operating conditions.
Minimum Qualification:
§ Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years experience or a Bachelor of Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
§ Should have good exposure and working knowledge on all type of air-condition systems (air/water cooled chilled systems, cold-room systems, DX units, split units, computer room air-condition systems etc.
Minimum Experience:
§ Minimum 3 ? 5 years or relevant working experience or in a similar position and environment. (exposure to an airport environment an advantage)
Job Specific Skills:
§ Ability to plan and execute complex repair and maintenance tasks.
§ Ability to plan, schedule, train and supervise personnel under his custodial care.
§ Ability to prepare reports of all nature.
§ Required to put up proposals for new projects with design and bills of quantities.
§ Excellent oral/written communication skills in English language and at all levels.
§ To be able to carry out fault finding and rectification works on all types of HVAC equipments.
§ Well versed with all related safety regulations and requirements.
§ Awareness of airport operational restraints.
§ Observant nature during routine inspections.
§ Responsible attitude towards work.
§ Driving Licence is a must.
§ Well verse with use of Microsoft office and auto-cad Software.
§ Ability to work under high pressure and tight work schedules.
§ Good Leadership and Mentoring qualities.
